La Huerta El Noque - A Beautifully Restored Cortijo In Picturesque Ronda, Andalucia, Spain

There is so much to do at El Noque – from visits to Ronda, Jerez, Seville, Granada, a day trip to Morocco, to the coast or nearby lakes, or to the pueblos blancos (white villages) which are found in this part of Spain.

Activities

We can help arrange horseriding, golf, tennis, walks and picnics, hot air ballooning and many more things …..please just ask Renata before you go and she’ll investigate and give you the various options.

Spectator Events

Whilst some people will be fascinated by bullfighting its obviously not for everyone but a visit to the bullring in Ronda is still a must to see the empty ring and have a tour. You can visit a bull breeding farm, visit a local bodega, go to a poncho factory, watch olive oil being pressed and even have a flamenco evening arranged at El Noque

Restaurants

Plenty of very typical Spanish restaurants in Ronda and, of course, tapas bars plus the truly first class Tragabuches. We can recommend restaurants to suit your taste and style.

Andalucian diary

The Ronda festival in early September with its accompanying parades and bull fights is a big event in the area….but each nearby town has its equivalent if smaller ‘feria’.

Coast(s)

The sea is an hour’s drive away. Markets, beaches. water parks, shopping and all the things you’d expect from Spain’s most popular coastal strip. Marbella is literally just down the mountain…well an hour away down the mountain.

Guest Book

“This house is heaven on earth – Oh, how we will miss it. We loved it so much that we changed our plans to stay for one extra night. Thank you for making such a beautiful home and letting us share it – every square inch is perfection”.

“I wish I didn’t have to leave. It was perfect. The pool was great – we loved the hammocks. We want to come back as soon as possible”.

“The lavender sweep: the splash of the pool: the sun makes you smile, the shade keeps you cool; kindness of hosts, the light through the grass; food on the table, the wine in the glass; coolth of the house, the warmth of the staff; pop of a cork, the hoot of a laugh; quiet of friendships, some old and some new; noise of a party, the swallows, the view; gold checkered valley, the blue distant mountains; ant on the cobble, the burbling fountains; pointing of poplars, fragments of art; magic El Noque has entered my heart”.
